Gov. Corbett Signs Budget

Gov. Tom Corbett signed the FY2014-15 state budget into law today (July 10, 2014).  The budget includes an increase of 5% to the line item Grants to the Arts bringing the total approrpriation to $8.950 million.  Other increases include a 1.4% increase to the administrative line item for the Council on the Arts and a 9.5% increase to the line item for General Government Support of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).  Level funding went to the Cultural and Historical Support line item for PHMC.
