Tips for submitting a successful grant application:
Make sure you have filled out all required lines.
Check your Congressional and State Legislative Districts. Last year applications were rejected because this information was incorrect.
Check to make sure that you have filled out the COUNTY block with the county in which you reside, not the country.
Make sure your federal EIN is correct. Incorrect EIN numbers will automatically be rejected.
If you are applying under a fiscal sponsor, we will need a letter from the sponsor indicating the sponsorship and giving us their federal EIN. Your fiscal sponsor must be registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
Please remember that our guidelines prohibit us from awarding grants to individuals.
We will only fund activities that occur between January 1 - December 31, 2018. Make sure your activity occurs between those dates.
