The 2022 Arts Advocacy Day is back IN HARRISBURG on Wednesday, May 25th, and we need YOU!
Please sign up to participate in our 2022 Arts Advocacy Day. You can join us in-person or virtually! Either way, YOUR VOICE MATTERS!!!
Please sign up to participate, and we will send you all the materials you need to advocate for the Arts!
Schedule of events (still tentative)​:
Monday, May 23, 2022 - Advocacy Webinar
  • We will be hosting an advocacy webinar to share our goals for this year and answer any questions you might have about advocating for the arts locally, at the state level, or even nationally!​
Tuesday, May 24, 2022 - Advocacy Webinar, In-Person Registrant meeting
  • If you missed Mondays webinar, we will be sure to offer an additional time to join in and prepare yourself for Arts Advocacy Day!
  • If you register to attend in-person and elect to participate in legislative visits at the capitol, we ask you to join us for a meeting to discuss the schedule of events, take a deeper look into how to advocate in-person, and answer any specific questions you may have. We want you to feel as comfortable and prepared as possible!
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 - ARTS ADVOCACY DAY!
  • 8:00am-9:00am - Meet us at our table in the Main Rotunda to retrieve your information packets, schedule, and handle any last-minute questions!
  • 9:00am-10:00am - PA Arts & Culture Caucus Meeting
  • 10:00am-11:00am - Press Conference, Main Rotunda
  • 11:00am-4:00pm - Legislative meetings
  • 11:30am-1:30pm - PA Student Seminar
    • School students from several school districts will be attending this year's Arts Advocacy Day! In advance of their convening in Harrisburg, they will be partaking in a webinar with the "I'm Fine Project". Once together in Harrisburg, they will partake in the exercise of mask making with clay! Everyone is invited to stop in and see what they are up to. You might even be able to join in on the mask making process!
  • 5:00pm - Possible get together at local establishment (TBA)

    Become a Regional Arts Captain

    CFAPA is seeking volunteers to help us elevate our advocacy efforts year-round. Our goal is to be ensure creative sector concerns, issues, and triumphs are heard on an ongoing basis, not just once a year! We are looking for 14 regional captains. One captain from each of the 14 PA Partner regions as designated by the PA Council on the Arts.
