June 18, 2012 - The arts mean business in Pennsylvania

Arts & Economic Prosperity IV, a study of the nonprofit arts and culture industry’s impact on Pennsylvania’s economy has been released by Citizens for the Arts in  Pennsylvania.  This study provides compelling evidence that nonprofit arts and culture are a $2.55 billion industry in the Commonwealth.  The industry supports 81,061 full-time equivalent jobs and generates $360 million in state and local government revenue.  For more information visit http://www.citizensfortheartsinpa.org/economic-impact-pa-arts/.
